Rivian Servers Down?

Anyone else having issues with the Rivian API? All of the sudden my code won't login. I get the CSRF Token fine, but the login POST fails with what looks like a server side error..

Hmmm. I experienced a similar issue with Home Assistant & MyQ. The MyQ add-on stopped working. MyQ decided they did not want people having "unauthorized" access so they locked the API. I have to wonder if Rivian is doing this in preparation for "subscription services"......? Hopefully it is just down....

Good to know it's not just me. The error I'm seeing is the on the 2nd step of the login process, so I think they just broke something on their end.

Well mine seems to be working, but I don't do a login everytime, only when it fails, and I only call the API once every 15 minutes

Yeah, normally I only refresh the tokens every 24hrs, but I was playing with my data polling service when it started acting up.

You can pair the Rivian onboard door opener feature with a MyQ compatible garage door opener, the procedure is in the manual. But there's no direct integration between the phone based MyQ app and the RIvian app or vehicle.

Mine still hasn't changed, but like I said, I haven't done a login in a long time (I think at least a week, lol).

That said, is you account locked out? You can try generating a new account and see if that helps. Otherwise try https://github.com/the-mace/rivian-python-api and see if that reproduces the problem. Can you login via the app with this account?

Otherwise, I can try it with my code tomorrow, too late today.

I verified today that https://github.com/the-mace/rivian-python-api does in fact work.

I just tested it with the rivian_python_api, and I get the same response. I'm thinking that they did modified my account to enable remote monitoring to look into a proximity sensor issue that I reported to them.

It's odd that my android app still works, but I can't login with python.

Sounds like someone's servers don't like getting asked a bunch of questions in a short period of time.
