This is Cool and I'm very exited for some Japanese titanium cook ware but who the hell spends $90 on a coffee grinder? I do feel like being a non coffee drinker there will be some items unused in my kitchen.

You can repurpose it as a pepper mill too ?

Hahaha, first time seeing coffee equipment? Good coffee gear requires a ton of precision, accuracy, consistency, etc. As far as hand grinders go, $90 would actually be squarely in the budget category, e.g.: https://prima-coffee.com/grind/manual and hand grinders are one of the cheapest pieces of coffee gear. Good automatic grinders can go from like... $400 to $3500 and beyond. Good espresso machines can go from like $450 to $5400 and (well) beyond. Etc.

Just repurpose (spice grinder), sell, or gift it.

About to say 90 doesn't seem that bad for a grinder. Might as well use a automatic since you have plugs right next to you!

I bought my wife the set of coffee grinder, kettle, and pour over thingy. She uses the coffee grinder daily. The others go camping. It was cheaper that way

quality is commensurate with price in this instance. As far as I can tell, the snow peak coffee grinder is made by Hario, another Japanese company. fancy coffee stuff is crazy expensive.

I don’t drink coffee either. I commented on seeing two pour over coffee makers in the rivian Picture. My wife asked what I thought would happen if coffee drinkers had to wait. Suddenly it made sense. ?

the plates/bowls are not titanium. They’re stainless. The double walled ti mugs are great though. Hope the big ones fit in the cup holders

hand operated one is much much quieter. I wouldn’t be thrilled to hear an electric coffee grinder in a campground at “gimme my coffee” o’clock

Can you you imagine you're deep in the woods, enjoying nature, and suddenly, from an adjacent campsite you hear the mechanical whir of a powerful coffee grinder cutting through the silence? Moments later you hear the screech of milk being steamed!

I'm a coffee hobbyist but even I can't imagine the levels of hipster that one would need to be to lug heavy, expensive coffee equipment on adventures with them. We more reasonable coffee hipsters would just bring our bripes.

Very true! Depends on where you camp. Generators can be noisy too.

I'm into coffee, but my hand burr grinder with my Aeropress or pour over is perfect for camping. Nothing fancy, nothing noisy.
I think my stainless grinder was closer to $50-60, not cheap, but every bit worth it

True. Tend to avoid places with high RV concentration. Camp in tent sites, usually means being a bit away from all the RVs.
and generator use is not allowed before 9 or so, if at all.

I fresh grind coffee every morning, but when I am camping, I just pre-grind for pour over. Less stuff to carry!
