It solved the wind noise issue. However, I should clarify that I'm not using the whole rack since I don't plan to sleep on top of the vehicle just transport it up there. So I'm only using half of the C6 platform.
I just got the C6 Rev Tent too. Like you, the wind noise is bothering me. Are you willing to share pictures of the wind deflator in place with the folded tent on top and let us know exactly what you purchased?

As I understand it, you are essentially using just the bottom half (when folded) part of the C6 mounting platform. I assume you have that on Rivian crossbars.

Thanks for getting this discussion started.

Sure, I purchased the frontrunner option mentioned earlier in this thread. The rack is the C6 Outdoor platform for the RevTent. I just didn't install both halves because as stated earlier I don't plan to setup the tent on top of the vehicle. Just transport it. Here are pictures of the install. It's not 100% perfect since I had to share the bolts in the corner for mounting both the tent and the deflector, but it works.

Can you bolt the deflector to the underside of the rack? You could get a lower angle on the deflection.

I didn't try since accessing those would be far more difficult. Given the stories of shattered glass roofs I prefer to do as minimal wrenching while on the vehicle. ;)

Also if you attached to the underside it would mean the wind deflector itself would route air more "onto" the tent instead of "over" it. Hopefully that makes sense. There is only so much adjustment that can be made to the deflector itself.

Anyone here who still have the front runner wind fairing, would one of you measure the distance between the two outer mounting positions, out of the four total (longest distance between mounting points)? I've ordered one of these, but just realized it may not work with my setup.
