The road from here to Seattle goes through Raymond WA, where it floods with salt water 3-6 times a year during king tides.I don't doubt there is a potential for salt water intrusion into a battery pack, depending on the design, but since Rivians can drive through water that comes well over the battery pack in depth, I'd be comfortable making an assumption it's a non-issue for us.
When I asked about whether our Rivians could get through when others can't, two or three Rivian service people all said the same thing -- R1's are built to drive through about 3' of fresh water, but NOT salt water!
I wouldn't take any chances with this one....
