I didn't have a spare for the first couple of months. I would at least add a quality tire plug kit. I still carry one with my spare. Also place the Rivian sealant kit in an additional zip-lock bag. Several people have had it leak and it is a big mess.
I live in Carmel Valley. Took our R1S out to Anza Borrego and the Salton sea a few weeks ago. Banked about 12 miles of charge while eating breakfast in Borrego Springs and made it back home with enough to spare that I wasn’t nervous. Don’t remember the exact mileage but I sort of recall having at least 30-40 miles of range left after the trip. Drove in conserve mode there and back and in off-road mode out to Fonts Point. I have the 22“ wheels so have a lit better range than the 20”.According to my range screen, I only get about 1 mile per kWh around town. So I have a bit of range anxiety about going to Anza Borrego. If I charge at Albertsons or Viejas, I should make it. But I don't think I could do a trip to and from my home in PQ. Thoughts?
