Possibly the best "scam the scammer" of all times is the Martin Coles "Anus Laptops" scambait. I choked multiple times laughing so hard when I read this years ago. Long read, ideal with a beer in hand.

I haven't thought about this in a long, long time. I wish the saga was properly archived. The audio in it was pure gold.

This is why I would only purchase local pick up.

That is exactly what I was thinking. If it is a local pickup, I would use a Starbucks or some popular spot with lots of people.
