Spare Tires available this summer 2023?

It appears spare tire option isn't available on the gear shop until this summer?

I purchased my R1T with the 21" street tire package last year late summer. I quickly realized I needed off road tires and set an appointment for the Sacramento Service Center for a wheel and tire change out. I wasn't offered the option for a spare...I also didn't ask for that option. My bad. Now, it looks like we are all waiting for the spare tire option until this summer. Strange...IF they had 4 wheels and tires for me to switch to (which I paid for, over 4k) then why couldn't I have a spare? Not sure. Any thoughts out there on this??

Now, I have 21" wheels and road tires and I'm willing to sell them to anybody who wants a spare now rather than MAYBE this summer!
I'll let them go for $750 per wheel. They have about 4k miles on them.
I have 1 brand new 21" wheel and tire spare with 0 miles on it for $800. Will sell as a set or individually.

The issue is the Jack and other parts that make up the spare kit not the tire and wheel themselves.

Now that makes more sense....but...the jack and lift kit is pretty basic?? It seems hard to believe Rivian can't source those parts...

Last I checked the world of supply chains is still pretty broken. Took my parents over 8 months to get a kitchen table last year which is just a few pieces of wood. I wouldn't assume anything is basic or readily available.

I currently work with about 10 corporate clients. Supply chain has significantly improved over the last two years. However, there are specific things that are still in short supply.
Supply chain seems to be most affected with “specialty “orders of products that are not in high demand. Basic products are more readily available than they’ve been since 2019. This is why major chains like Walmart, target, have overstock they’re currently trying to move. so, I’m still confused why some basic parts for roughly 25,000 users (Rivian owners) is that difficult to procure. But, perhaps you’re right? Regardless, it doesn’t help Rivian’s customer base loyalty.

Now that makes more sense....but...the jack and lift kit is pretty basic?? It seems hard to believe Rivian can't source those parts...

I have the complete jack kit, just need a mini-spare to go with it... also, I can't say how I got it...

I saw somewhere the issue was with the Jack kit not the wheels, make sense because you can order sets of wheels for the trucks but not spares.

I wish they would just sale the wheels for the people that want to do their own kits.

Rumour is their supplier went out of business. Rivian doesn't want to split things up because they have to apply new payload stickers if they make a physical addition.

Ok, that makes WAY more sense. I know they had to switch providers/vendor on the Tonneau cover mechanism too which has caused delay.
