Interestingly after returning from a 2-week vacation and having my R1S sitting unused, the noise is noticeably lower, almost gone.

Our Tri delivered in February started the handle moan while we were on vacation in Montana. Figured it was from the dust but sounds like everyone is having issues. Also have the passenger front door rubbing a paint chip and damaged PPF. I try not to think about it but it bums me out that the most expensive care we've ever owned is having these issues.

I have 4 Gen 1s…quiet as a mouse. Something changed on the Gen 2s as it’s the only one I have with this issue.

My R1T G1 door handle interior hinges were absolutely packed with grease when I picked it up. Today 18 months later the passenger side is still packed, the driver mostly gone, melted away from the sun probably. Guess which side is a bit noisy.

This thread made me think to dab some grease in there with a long Q-Tip when the temp gets under 95F. Maybe I'll even clean out the passenger side and refresh.

Mine creak very loudly when they present but mostly when the weather is hot. Mobile service said the handles need to be replaced at a service center so I decided to delay fixing them until I need to go in for more serious service.
