Quick update... Joked with my guide today that it would be a great birthday gift to get the news I can start my 8 step process and low and behold... at around 6:00 pm he texted me... Birthday wish granted.

My birthday actually is coming up the end of May. While I would love to be starting/completing my 8-step process, I'll settle for not getting an end of May update about Rivian's replan informing me that my original June/July window will be further delayed.

edit: not only is my b-day coming up but it will be my 50th so a summer delivery would be an awesome "gift" from Rivian!

Did the 8 steps today... Delivery Saturday at 3:30. So excited. Will not be flatbed since I am within a certain amount of miles of service center but still VERY excited. Lots of pics to follow.

I was at the SLC service center today and told them I’d be happy to take delivery there to save them the trouble of bringing it to me 45 minutes away. She said they can’t do deliveries at the service center because they don’t have a UT dealer’s license. ?‍

I asked my guide about flat bed because I would prefer it and he said likely they will drive it to me because I am within a certain amount of miles of the service center. Maybe because I am in socal?

The guy who brought my first drive truck said basically the same thing. Where I’m at they will drive it to me if I’m doing a trade or flatbed if not. But much further away and it would be flatbed regardless.
