Charge port door not opening
Is anyone else experiencing issues with the charge port door not opening when using the capacitive release button on the fender? I find this only happens when itās cold out, and havenāt yet determined if itās cold hands or cold button. If I go inside and open it from the main screen, it works...- Gshenderson

Brakes sticking when coming out of park
I feel them give loose and a slight noise, but havenāt been too concerned about it. Usually after it has sat in the garage for awhile.- Gshenderson

2 recent issues: driver's door would not open & speed reduced until service error message
This is a ābeforeā taken yesterday when I dropped it off. This has a before and after, both taken today. Not sure if they did any adjustments between the two ābeforeā readings or just changed the tires. As you can see, left front camber is still out of spec, but the service tech indicated...- Gshenderson

2 recent issues: driver's door would not open & speed reduced until service error message
Took the truck in for Service for the above issues yesterday. They serviced the drivers side door and tightened the bolts on the catch latch which was loose. Apparently the reason it went into limp mode was because the alignment was all screwed up. They did an alignment and also replaced all 4...- Gshenderson

What do you use your R1T bed for? (Picture Edition)
Those were shot simultaneously by my son and I 100 feet from the trailhead. We debated for a long time whether to shoot them because our main focus was finding a herd of elk weād seen the previous day. But āeasiest pack out everā won the day. Elk tags went unfilled.- Gshenderson

Took mine on a hunting trip in MT the past 5 days. General observations: Performed well from a handling standpoint on snow covered roads - both highways and dirt roads. Kneel Mode coming in next OTA software update 2022.39.0

So glad the latest update now remembers Driver+ settings. Follow distance default to max vs. min drove me crazy! Now if theyād only allow min to be just a little closer (I still have issues with people cutting in), and changing max speed to 90mph vs. 85 Iād be even more happy. Supporting... -

I donāt really use Sport mode when driving, so I set sport mode to ālowestā ride height and it remembers that. So whenever Iām about to park, I hit the Drive Mode icon and select Sport and it adjust to lowest. Not ideal, but it works. When I remember to do itā¦ -
Hitch Pin length
I guess it really depends on what youāre planning to tow and the ālevelā tongue height for the trailer. I primarily tow a flatbed utility trailer that has a pretty low level tongue height, so not being able to invert the hitch isnāt really an issue for me.- Gshenderson

Any tests done on Vampire battery drain?
Iām still losing 2-3 rated miles (~1% of battery capacity) per day when the truck is sitting idle in my garage. Rough calculation is thatās about equivalent to having a 60w light on for a day. -
Title, license plate (transfer or new) and registration
At my local DMV, they literally walk out to the parking lot and check the ViN. That wasnāt needed for my Rivian. Everything was just sent to me. Title arrived first, then plates and registration a few days later. FYI for folks in UT who donāt like the default plate style that Rivian...- Gshenderson
