I’m trying to figure out if my mind is playing tricks on me. Does the ride stiffen when staying in all purpose mode but switching from normal to lower? I’m short and it’s easier to get in and out of on lower, but feel like I’m feeling more of the imperfections of the road as compared to normal.

Yes, the ride quality changes as you raise/lower the suspension.

Lower it to get in, then raise it to Standard to drive in the city. On a smooth highway I think Low is okay. If the road is not smooth, I prefer Standard. I stopped using Lowest -- it always feels terrible.

The lower it is the less air in the bags. This makes for a stiffer ride for better handling but bumpier.

Low in sport feels stiffer than low in all purpose, but I'd love to know if that is true based on the spec'd config

Standard VS low in all purpose are different to me as well. Again, would like to know the config specs

Less air in the bags means softer springs (more pressure=higher ride), but the dampers are adjusted accordingly so the truck doesn't bottom out the tires against the fenders on bumps.

The handling comes from the antiroll system and damper response, which is pretty unique here among trucks.
