I hear ya. So roughly 7% over what they considered "cost". Man that sucks. Using that formula, if you get them to $79000, you should get ~ $84135. At least you would be closer.

That’s my thinking. at that point I can get a used R1T. I don’t mind since there are several Launch Greens for sale in our area.

Yep. There's the fine print. Out of curiosity, are you with Nationwide, or another insurance carrier? The other issue is that all insurance carriers do not offer all types of comprehensive coverage in all states. That's where it really gets messy. Joe in Colorado may not get what Fred in Pennsylvania gets. It's a game all insurance carriers love to play, and it's also why they have the biggest buildings in any major city.

I know they need to make money to survive, but it's the way they advertise and promote that's less than honest.

That was my understanding, too. Forest Edge has always been a $2000 option for both Launch and Adventure.

If I recall correctly, Launch only came with a wrist band, Launch edition badging, option to choose Launch Green, and a free wheel upgrade - to 20" or 22", I think, originally worth $1800, but not a free Forest Edge interior upgrade.

Original ACV: = $72,535.00 ? This was the what Nationwide’s assessment service (CCC) had quoted as the value of my truck. I ended up sending in a pic of my window sticker to get it resolved. Below are the new numbers..

Original MSRP: = $79,000.00
110% of MSRP: = $86,900.00
New Vehicle ACV: = $94,800.00
NCR ACV (Lessor of Lines 5 & 6): = $86,900.00
UPD Applied: -
Adjusted ACV: = $86,900.00
Tax: + $5,561.60 6.40%
Additional Tax: +
Total Fees: + $223.39
Subtotal: = $92,684.99
Deductible: - $1,000.00
NCRP Subtotal: = $91,684.99

They’ve already sent off $57K for my loan payoff. That leaves me with $34655 to use towards a new or used Rivian.

I’ve got a few days before I have the funds and can setup a new loan so I’ll think over whether or not I’ll get a new R1T or a used one. At the moment I’m leaning towards a used one. I’ve found a launch green with the power tonneau and an Adventure in rivian blue. Both have about 8000 miles and both are under $80K.
