Excellent product and service from the owner. Best mod I made to our R1T.

I agree with your thoughts and impressions. I've had my tray installed since July and it still looks and works perfect.
Same here. Great product. This is the third replacement charging pad I've purchased and installed. In my opinion, this is the best one currently available.

Does this not come with built in wireless chargers? Am I correct in assuming that you have to add Apple MagSafe charger or the JSAUX one they offer? Do these slide inside the body of it or what?
You are correct, you need to buy the chargers. They are easily installed (see video)

Doesn't seem to work as well with my phone. I have to keep moving it around to find the spot so am not as happy with mine as you are with yours. <shrug>
Hi, is your case MagSafe compatible? If working correctly it should be pretty easy to find the spot where it snaps to the charger. If you are unsure you can try testing without your phone case.

Does the charging work with Android phones? I have fold 5.
I haven’t had the StowNCharge for that long, but it works fine with the Z Fold 5. You'll need to have the right case though. Besides the case needing to be magsafe (or sticking a mag ring to the case), it also cannot be too bulky. Because our phones are thick when folded and the charging area sits up higher than the OEM pad, there's only so much room to work with before it's pushing up on the bottom side of the arm rest.

There's an installation video on their website. You can see how the pucks go in inside the new tray.

No it does not come with charing pucks. You can find all price ranges and choices at Amazon.

Magsafe pucks are extra. The fit in the bottom. Watch the installation video and it will tell you everything you need to know.

I don't care about the charging aspect, I want one of these just for the storage compartment!

Very cool. How does it work on the Max size iPhones? My wife and I have those and I have read things where these chargers (not just this one) don't work well on the larger phones.
Hey--I have an iPhone 15 Pro and it works just fine. I think this was the best upgrade I made to my truck. Easy to install and works as advertised. I did use the apple pucks in mine instead of the third party (because I already had one "extra"). Not sure if that matters.

I would think so, unless there's more to being MagSafe compatible than being able to use MagSafe accessories (like the MagSafe wallet, which I do use). That said, I took this ultra thin case off and the phone itself finds the charging spot much more easily. However, I make sure to have a protective case on my phone at all times so I can't (won't) go without one.

A case the has MagSafe support actually has its own magnets separate in the case. So, if you are just using an ultra-thin case I'm guessing it doesn't. Since it's thin it will still work but but won't attach very strongly.

Okay, I just checked my MagSafe wallet connects to the case without the phone in it, so there is a magnet present. <shrug>

Just installed mine yesterday with Apple pucks. Mixed feelings about it…

The good: installation was easy, looks great, love the small storage area, it sticks well to my phone out of the case.

The bad: the factory pad charged my phone in the MagSafe compatible case. This does not. Real bummer. Not sure if I can keep this pad or need to switch back to factory. Feels like I got a tiny drawer for like $300…

StowNCharge should be able to charge with a MagSafe compatible case with no problems so something is not right. It could be a faulty component or some issue with the install. Please send me a DM or an email to [email protected] and I'd be happy to try and figure it out with you.
