It is a fine line between crazy and adventure but there is no better way than to dive and do the trip. After all there is a lot going for you:
- it is all downhill to Boston
- plenty of DCFC charging options along I80/I90
- in NY you can also stop at Tesla Superchargers in Fredonia, Batavia, Verona (all nicely spaced on the Thruway)
- then a final charge at the Tesla Superchargers in Malta (outside Albany) and take the back roads thru VT/NH for a scenic finish to an epic road trip.
+1 on using the EA $4/month plan and get the Tesla app to setup charging at supported Tesla Superchargers in NY should you need to use them.
