SW Florida Service Center info?

Considering a “temporary” move to the Naples area at the end of the year (early retirement) while we decide on our “final destination” . Currently there is an SC in Tampa (2 1/2 hours) and Miami (2 hours).

But the SC map shows a “planned” one for the Ft Myers area, which would only be a 45 minute drive. Wondering if anyone has any intel on the target date.

Sweet! Plan is to sell our house this spring up here in NoVA/DC, rent for 6 months, then retire at the end of the year.

We have a condo in Naples, but don’t want to retire there permanently. So, we’re going to use it as a base while we travel around and see what we like.

Sounds like it should be finished well before our planned move. Thanks!

Make sure you check out Punta Gorda when you get down this way…small town vibe, minimal traffic, beautiful waterfront and much more for your money than Naples! Although I may be biased For my hometown!

Thanks. Almost had to spend the night there 2 days ago. Long story short, flew down Thursday to get my mother’s car (we had to move her into a facility near my sister in NY a few weeks ago), and started my drive back immediately. There was an accident on I-75 just across the river and it was closed at Kings Highway. Luckily I got there early enough that the detour around wasn’t that bad.

The condo in Naples was hers, but we (me & my sister) are also part owners. She has no interest in it, so my wife & I can stay there free while we decide what to do.
