This happened to me last week when I was driving home from work at about 60 mph. Both screens went black except the speedo was still working. The sound system stopped playing the stream from my phone. I just kept driving and after a couple of minutes, everything came back online.

It was a weird experience to say the least. 1st time in 56K miles.

I had this happen for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I have 32,000 miles on my '22 R1T. Glad this forum was here as I had read others reports and wasn't worried.

Likewise, last Saturday, and again this morning with my wife driving.
It's definitely a bit unnerving to have this happen at night on the freeway in the middle of nowhere with the cruise control. I just coasted to a stop not realizing I could put my foot on the accelerator and just keep going. Since I was about 3 hours from home many thoughts raced through my head about being stranded.
There is some comfort knowing others have experienced this, but it's weird. It seems like this comes up for a lot of people on a similar time frame based on posts.

I was on the freeway in no particularly harsh conditions yesterday when both screens (and I believe the fans/AC although I was a little stressed so I'm not certain) went dead spontaneously. It was surprisingly unnerving for everything to go dark and quiet.

But, the interesting and good part is apparently the car is engineered in such a way that none of the controls went dead (steering, acceleration). Before I arrived at the next exit the system had begun to come back online starting with a white screen with the mph displayed. Within a minute, everything was back on and playing Spotify at the exact spot in the song that it went dead.

I thought I'd mention it here in case anyone knows this phenomenon to be a harbinger of bad things to come, and/or just to be grateful that the car didn't just roll to a stop in the fast lane.
Thank you for the story! I will keep that in mind if something like that happens to me!

Just happened to me today at 65mph on the freeway. Lost lane keeping and cruise control without warning.
System came back within 30 seconds.

Disconcerting but a somewhat "graceful failure" as we say in IT.

I had this repeatedly with the Christmas update. I always could tell when it was coming - the radio / music / whatever would stutter. Then I'd glance down at the dash and see all the idiot / warning lights come on. Finally, both screens would go black.
