What is this? Well, trying to repair a very small dent in the tailgate I found this. Sadly, I did not take a picture before I started unscrewing bolts

Looks like a threaded rivet to connect the plastic.

Thank you. Has some sort of red indicator that slides 10 mm.

Thank you. Has some sort of red indicator that slides 10 mm.

The sliding red part is likely a locking mechanism that secures the rivet nut in place once it is installed. The red color is often used to highlight that it’s a moving part.
