Yeah, and ANY kind of handle so you can close the tailgate without just pushing up on the painted surface? This just seems like an oversight. Doesn't lift it self, it's heavy, and no handle...WHy?
That's why I put PPF on the tailgate.

Are you saying those bolts are already there, just under the plastic lip? All I'd need to do is unscrew them and screw back through the plastic? No tapping the metal?
Yes that is correct. I accidentally pulled my trim half off and found them underneath.

Mine completely came off this week. All the clips are now broken.
