Taking delivery on Sat, why can't i proceed with 'upcoming' tasks?

Hi all,

I am FINALLY set to take delivery of my R1S this weekend. I am going through all the tasks and i'm confused about what i need to do/my guide has not responded in over 24 hours.

I have uploaded my license info, selected the quote rivian gave me for insurance, and am now faced with three 'upcoming' tasks.

One of them is financing. I want to wire or send them the down payment via Plaid and show upload my loan preapproval letter but i can't actually do any of this. It just has a button that says 'upcoming' and i cannot click on it (greyed out). I've called and emailed my guide about how i move forward from here but they haven't gotten back to me.

Any tips?

You may have to sign the purchase agreement via the link they send to your email before you can do the financing upload part.

that stuff unlocks about 1 week to 5 days before the pick up date.

Not sure about that, I've been able to do all of those things (haven't actually transferred funds with Plaid, but have no trouble clicking all the way through to bank login), and I don't yet have a delivery date (unless, they're about to spring it on me in a day or so).

I was in the same boat 2 weeks ago. I ended up emailing my guide who then got all the final steps unlocked on the Friday before our Tuesday delivery.

thanks for all the replies. It was very silly. I am not trading a car in, and had not really looked into that section. What i had to do is go in there and explicitly state i am not trading anything in. Once i did that, the financing part unlocked. Not really intuitive!
