Hello. When planning a trip to fort worth I noticed that not all Tesla supercharger stations are appearing on my app.
Has anyone else noticed the same?
I have all the filters properly selected.
thank you.

Not sure if you mean ones open to NACS vehicle, can you explain more. Not all superchargers are open to NACS, they have to be a V3 or V4 charger and opened by Tesla to NACS vehicles.

You can go to the supercharger’s map on the Tesla web site to verify ones open to other manufacturers. Set filters to show NACS and Magic Dock stations.

if you use Tesla app, when you select Charge your other EV> it will give you the super charging station that can be use with adaptor. if not shown on the app under Charge your other EV, than that super charging station cannot be used with adaptor.

If it says 150kw, it is a V1 or V2 and not compatible. 250 kw and up are mostly available to those with the NACS adapter.

I created a short video on how to find them. The Rivian NAV shows the Tesla chargers if you turn off the filter (which seems to be on by default) to "hide sites that require an adapter". If your planning in the app you have to do the same thing each time which can be annoying.

You can also find them on the Tesla website by filtering.

Nothing under 250 kWh will be available. Best to use the link I provided to see what is open. ABRP (A Better Route Planner) is what I use when scoping out my potential trips. It works really well, you can also just scan the map for potential chargers in a specific area once you set your vehicle and options.

The rivian nav keeps hiding Tesla stations on me by enabling the filter again and again. Super annoying that literally all the vehicle settings change all by themselves.

Actually, y just discovered this very issue last night when we arrived at our vacation destination to OBX on our first Rivian road trip which I thought I had planned out well in advance. I knew about V3+ requirements but I didn't bother to check the Tesla nor ABR app until I went to use it. SMH Thankfully, there was another Tesla supercharger site 5 miles down the road.

Thank you for the reply.

It’s probably a V2 (version 2) Supercharger. They don’t have the updated hardware to communicate with non-Tesla vehicles. They’ll be update at some point, hopefully.
