I don't recall anyone saying that it's flawless. What we all know is that it's better than the more-flawed meatbag drivers and improving every day.
Lets have FSD get distracted by a cell phone while driving and we can compare notes after.

Exactly. Or the baby crying. Or all of the myriad things drivers do. On Saturday a friend on a motorcycle was forced off the road by a driver who was trying to change a damn diaper!

Also she was a great maid/housekeeper and, well, provided other services, much better than a human. I can prove it. But I won't.

I’m not vested in this thread and my Tesla has V1 Autopilot so no way for me to weigh in with my own experience.

I will say two things though.

1) Since the government departments having open investigations with Tesla FSD have been decimated, we may never know any real data on this.

2) Until any company takes full responsibility for any incidents that occur while any autonomous driving utility is active, any claims about its superiority is nothing but rhetoric.

100% #2. I don't want to hear about how good X company's system is until X company comes out and tells me they will take responsibility for my journey. When I get in a cab or an Uber, they have insurance that carries the liability for something going wrong. They aren't as good as human drivers until we can say the same about autonomous vehicles.

Sure, just like seat belts, ABS, and all the other safety systems. They must be no good at all since companies don't take full responsibility for them. LOL!!

Just curious, what company is claiming a seatbelt is a better driver than a human?
