I do hope that Rivian takes note of that type of price to performance. Although, the actual production/delivery will be late 2022, so Elon might be hedging on lower battery costs by then...

The presentation was cringe-worthy. Is Elon always like that?
The design is absolutely not my thing. Sometimes too different can be a hard sell.
Interesting note: According to their configurator, the truck will be released late 2021 for dual motor and late 2022 for tri-motor.

It's not nearly as bad looking as I was afraid it would be. Only $100, so I ordered one. I do like the tonneau. I don't like the sloped bed sides.

Probably 2 years before I can actually get either one, so plenty of time to see what is finally produced.

I wondered the same, first time I've watched him present. Not prepared or polished & the dry mouth/licking thing was killing me.

What an absolute dumpster fire.

From Elon, to WEAK throws busting windows, I couldn't agree more.

Musk has once again proven he's a miracle worker. He's managed to make the Bollinger look curvaceous.

One of the biggest complaints against the first Honda Ridgeline was that the sloping sides on the cargo bed made it difficult to access things at the front of the bed from the sides of the truck. Musk has worked another miracle there, too. What was difficult in the Ridgeline is now impossible in the Tesla. You'll have to unload the rear of the bed to get to anything in the front. Will the ingenuity never stop?
