Great to hear! But I still sit here with an order from 7/2019 and no anticipated delivery.
Yikes. Well, I can't complain as much as you, but I still complain a little. I'm a Nov/2020. Confirmed configuration 4 weeks ago, shop access at the same time, and nothing. LS, BM, 22 Dark

I drove by the Dallas SC today and I would guess there were 30-40 R1Ts, 3 coming off a transport as I was there. There were also 2 Launch Green R1Ss and 1 El Cap R1S, all with 20s I believe

Oh my! What's the Dallas address?

Edit: So, it's near Park Place.

I think I see a hint of Compass Yellow R1T in there, might have to swing by and see for myself.

Received contact from my guide yesterday! 8 steps started today. She estimated 1-3 weeks for the truck. Excited! She did mention that if I wanted to change to the AT wheels (have 21's configured), it would likely delay my delivery, so sticking with 21's.

Crazy how the lottery works. Dec 21 reservation getting a truck before a Nov 20 and a July 19 reservation!

June 2020 pre-order here. Received my truck at the Dallas service center yesterday. I was told they started doing deliveries out of the permanent Hawes location on Tuesday 9/6/22. I was about the 8th delivery out of the new Hawes location. They should start cranking out DFW deliveries now that the new service center is open.

FWIW: Home delivery is not an option. Pick up at service center only. They let you "choose" your pick up day and time, but there was only one day for the entire month of September that was available to me, which was extremely annoying. Especially since I only had about a 3 day notice. Literally, the only day they had available for pick up was September 7th--out of the entire month. After waiting over 2 years, it's annoying that Rivian makes you scramble on such short notice. There are lot of things to take care of: financing, trade in, work, time off, insurance, etc. And of course all of the pick up times are during business hours, which isn't super convenient. They only give you a 45 minute window and it's really not enough time to do a thorough inspection of everything. It's just enough time to sign some paperwork, get the app connected, go over some basic features, and get out of there. The tonneau was broken when I took delivery. Was told it was going to be fixed today via mobile tech. I haven't heard a thing from Rivian and have followed up. Alexa doesn't work--I get an error message. A few other minor complaints. Overall, it's great. But it's the small things that add up and are annoying when buying a $90,000 product.

Another complaint: I ordered the wall charger, all-weather floor mats, and cargo crossbars. The charger was delivered the same day as the truck, luckily. Originally it was estimated to arrive a few days after delivery. Not knowing exactly when I would receive the charger made scheduling an electrician difficult. The earliest I could schedule my electrician to install it is a few days after taking delivery. There was a chance that the charger wasn't even going to arrive by the time i scheduled the electrician to install it. Luckily, it all worked out and the charger arrived early and the electrician was able to move another client around and fit me in. But, there was a very real chance I was going to go charger-less for a week or two trying to reschedule with the electrician. As I mentioned before, you don't have a lot of lead time to organize and schedule anything because Rivian is terrible at communicating. While taking delivery, I was told that the crossbars and all-weather floormats were not ready and would be shipped to me at some point. They were surprised I wasn't told this already by my Guide. I have no idea when these will come and haven't heard any update from Rivian or my Guide about these items. I fully expected both of these to be installed in the vehicle upon delivery. Now, not having any idea when they will ship or arrive is just kind of ridiculous to me.

One thing I am very pleasantly surprised with and loving is the phone key and the proximity seems to be working fantastic. I walk up and it unlocks. I walk away and it locks. I walk near the truck during the day (not wanting to use it) and it stays locked like it should. My office is no more than 20 yards from the truck and it hasn't unlocked once yet and I have walked in and out of my office many times. Phone as key and proximity lock/unlock is working great so far!

Agree. It makes no sense. I am kind of thinking that guides have something to do with it. My guide is not very responsive and any time I ask for updates he states that he has nothing to add. I think some guides just do better with matching you with a truck that is in queue. I also have a 9/2021 R1S order but I am considering changing my 7/2019 to an R1S and 9/2021 to my R1T as I think the 9/2021 R1T has same likelihood of getting filled this year as my 7/2019 order.

Nevermind. I was just assigned a VIN (11600ish). Maybe it is really happening!

Update: I just had my intro call with my Guide! He said that my vehicle is scheduled for production and he wanted to confirm my interest in purchase and configuration. I also have a link in my profile to the Shop (purchase vehicles that are already built), but it's empty.

Next step is to start my 8 step purchase process once he's prompted to do so by production which he estimates will be before month end. Seems like production schedule is driving the Guide assignment and subsequent activity and that makes sense. He also said that this whole process could happen very quickly as he's seen things moving very quickly as of late.

I'll update this post with my progress for anyone who's interested.
Update: I picked up my R1T on Wednesday from the Dallas Service Center. As others have shared, they started making deliveries on Tuesday out of the Service Center and the time from my Guide assignment to delivery was 2 and 1/2 weeks. I am so thrilled with the quality I've experienced thus far (I haven't found any issues or major bugs). It is so fun to drive and I love my "22 dark wheels as contrast to the Glacier White body!

Great to hear of the quick timeline from guide assignment to delivery. I'm hoping I get the same timeline as I went ahead and sold my current truck yesterday rather than doing a trade-in (27500 sold to CarMax vs 22000 Rivian trade-in offer).
That white truck looks nice! My last three vehicles have been white, but doing it different this go-around.
