True, but I think it's kind of his "signature sign-off":In any case, probably not the best to tell someone to drive well when their truck is in that shape.

It’s such a mess. Turns out it was a minor, which has made the whole thing even more complicated. My insurance is in a holding pattern cause the police department hasn’t released anything to me “due to the ongoing investigation.”@OP - Please let us know what insurance determines. If they do declare it totaled, remember to get all the "valuable stuff" out (camp speaker, floormats, gear guard cable, travel charger, etc.). There's a few threads floating around with checklists. Good luck!
At close to $50k-I'd say totalled. Friend of mine started with one body shop a few years ago and now owns five. Business is good. Not that anybody is surprised, but after insurance “wrote an estimate” of about $9500 based off of pictures and told the body shop to get working on it (about 10 days ago)…I got an update today from the body shop that they’d finished taking everything apart and they’d filed a request for additional funds.
So now I’m just waiting for a call from insurance to let me know it’s totaled.
The problem is that this was leased back when things were incentivized so deep. I’m at less than $600 a month with nothing down. Not sure I can duplicate that even on a used one.Considering I'm seeing reasonably low-mileage '23 quads for sale in the mid-high 50k range, I would push for being totaled and get a replacement.
