Third row windows have mismatched defrost wires, normal?

Hello all,

My third row window defrost wires are mismatched. On one window, there are two vertical "bars" of wires. On the other side, only one. Service has told me that this is normal, but that's hard to believe. It's more believable that they switched designs and my car has one of both.

They are antenna wires and not defrosters. Totally normal.

Glad to hear that. The car has a shark fin antenna, so I discounted that possibility. I wonder why the car uses multiple antennas. Are the window wires GPS?

Yep same here. They are different on each side. However, my head isn't on a swivel, so I don't look out the driver side window much... ?

I don’t know. Our 2006 LR3 had similar antenna wires on the rear side windows. Some weren‘t even connected to anything and I think they were for other markets or other configurations.
