Good evening everyone
i would like to ask thought on having a stereo shop hide wires for my cell phone mount. I have gone with the standard windshield suction cup mount / charger and put it so it rests just above the dash all the way to the left of the windshield. I currently have the cord go straight down to the bottom of the dash and then run over the the lighter outlet under the dash just above the floor "cubby".
i use clips to keep the cord under control but it still loosens all the time so was thinking of going to a shop so they could route the cord behind the dash possibly.
1). Does anyone have any concerns that a reputable shop would damage anything when the route the wires?
2). Does anyone have any concerns that this could possibly do something to the warranty? they would not tap into the electricity i believe, but they would be removing the dash to reroute the wires i believe (although have no idea TBH as I have never done stuff like this)
3). Does anyone have any general comments?
As always thanks for the input. It is great to have a community like this.
