I foresee R1 to have clamshell frunk after the shutdown, similar to R2; to eliminate the current R1 frunk sharp edges bending when it gets caught in the tree branches.

I foresee the R1 having an actual heated steering wheel.

Not this make believe type of the current Gen 1.
Mine works fine. I mean I couldn't cook sausages on it, but I don't need or want that.

Mine R1T is weak. The heated wheels in the Jeeps can almost burn....and I like that. I have cold hands....

Actual physical key in fob to get into driver door....where you can pull a physical lever, which opens the frunk....for access to the weak link....the 12v battery.....

I did comparison testing with my Jeep Wrangler, and it was significantly colder.

Like a good 10F+ plus. In googling it seemed to be on the bottom end in terms of warmth provided by the heated steering wheel.

Rivian did say the replacement one was to spec. The first one was defective where the lower half didn't get warm at all.
