@mkg3 have you gotten any additional updates about the tailgate product?

I reached out to Tuxmat customer service this week and the rep informed me they are not making that mat (see below). Hoping this rep is just out of the loop ?

They look great. I have the Liner X mats and was the first person I think to drill in the seat backs and install the black plastic anchors that were previously mentioned. I’ve had the R1S for over a year and happy to say the anchor points are largely holding up great and I’ve loaded a bunch of stuff in and out.

My only criticism of the set up is I keep the 3rd row down the majority of the time and the bottom of the 2nd row covers easily get caught on the 3rd row and will curl. I don’t notice it until I have to move the 2nd forward. I do wish Rivian would install anchor points in the backs of the seats for all weather mats so they would stay locked in where seats are up or down. Or offer and option for seat backs to be a nice harder rubber.

My email from Sobithan was on September 6th, this year. At the time he said they are coming but did not have an ETA.

Damn! Was waiting on that tailgate cover. Huge miss...

Still nobody has made a suitable tailgate cover that (1) doesn't look awful, and (2) can be used independent of a full cargo mat.
