Unique Gen 2 configurations in shop

Anyone else noticed a unique configuration in the shop that you couldn’t otherwise get even with a custom order?

They have this dual max listed with the std 20” wheels, no AT package. The builder won’t let you do this. 380mi range is unique to it as well it seems.

Rivian Roamer actually shows 7 dual maxes with the 20” all-season wheels. Forest green with the darkout package is a very cool one.

Its a bug that Rivian is aware of, they do not sell Max with 20" All-Season wheels.

I didn’t think so either. Weird bug that the config has its own unique range.

I also find this strange. They have an explicit configuration setup for it in their API. Maybe not now but later?

Still really weird if it’s a bug. They have 10 of them like this listed available in my area. Even weirder that none of them are shown in a large+ option as well. Rivian tends to double list the same car as large+ and max.

Interested to see what they tell you. Glad someone took the plunge.

Yes, got the car the other weekend. It has the 20" Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tires. I haven't charged the car to 100% yet but right now it is sitting at 47% with a range of 180 miles which comes out pretty close to a range of 380 miles on a full battery.

So not a glitch as originally reported. You can get a max with 20” AS from the shop but not custom order that same spec. Weird.

Interesting, they are the 275/60R20 and not 276/65R20. That's probably best for efficiency too.

How's the ride quality?

Great, no complaints thus far.

This is my first EV so I don't have much basis for comparison but the car does not seem overly loud or anything.

I've only driven around 500 miles thus far, mix of city and highway, and looks like I am averaging 2.3 mi/kwh. If that can improve a bit after the break-in period I'll be stoked but I don't think that is too bad.

I am glad these are winter-rated and look forward to trying them in the snow and cold.
