Yes. Same issue. I had two 4+hr drives this past weekend and 2hrs into each drive I had the same warning experience and the UHF option didn’t come back on. I did both soft reset at end of first drive but no success. Then hard reset before calling it a day. It did come back as an option after that. However, then 2hrs into my drive same experience/issue.Anyone else having UHF faults after the latest update? Did a restart and cleared but came back about 200 miles later. Shows the fault makes me take over then says unavailable.
After it happens I’m assuming yours is the same as mine where the steering wheel and hands icon under the speedometer disappears until you do a hard reset?Yes. Same issue. Yes. Cruise Control works, but not hands free. I was just about to post to ask if anyone else had the same issue. I’ll feel better knowing its a software bug and relatively easy fix. After it happens I’m assuming yours is the same as mine where the steering wheel and hands icon under the speedometer disappears until you do a hard reset?
Autonomy features are disabled until after you put the vehicle in Park, then start driving again, if a fault is detected in an Autonomy mode. The fault is commonly failure to take control promptly, when requested. Also, inattendance is a common cause..Anyone else having UHF faults after the latest update? I parked, charged and let it sit for 30 minutes. Did not offer hands free that is normally available on the highway I was on. Same on return. I was in park for 30 minutes and it was not showing the UHF icon.Autonomy features are disabled until after you put the vehicle in Park, then start driving again, if a fault is detected in an Autonomy mode. Same exact experience. I’m with you. Small cost to experience all the awesome upgrades. Just keep em rolling out - including this fix!I’ll share that I experienced this yesterday/last night in my 2026 R1T.
First, on a trip from Orlando to Sarasota, it “freaked out” randomly and told me to take control immediately, with no obvious reason (was paying attention, no cars around, straight road, etc.); would not re-engage until we stopped/it slept for a few hours.
Then on the ride back home, it gave me a “UHF is currently unavailable” and would not engage no matter how many times I tried/what area of town or road we were on.
While I am thankful for UHF and accept the monthly cost for the current features, it is disappointing to hear that several (myself included) may have experienced some sort of bug, possibly introduced with the latest update.
Same exact experience. Parking and charging didn’t change it I had to do a hard reset but I’m a bit scared to keep doing this 100’s of miles from home with my family traveling with me.I’ll share that I experienced this yesterday/last night in my 2026 R1T.
