I've had my R1T for a few weeks. I'm still learning what "normal" behavior is. Today I took my Rivian to the grocery store. The touch screen was on the select ride mode function. I guess the last thing I did when I was using it previously was switch to the normal drive mode. I started down the road and it wouldn't respond to screen touches. About the only thing it would respond to was the volume icon. It would respond to upward swipes and bring up a darkened screen. The screen was very hot to the touch. I thought I would continue on and give the screen time to cool off. After a while it started responding again. The question is, was it waiting for me to do a specific action that wasn't really obvious or was the temperature of the touch screen itself causing it to malfunction. Is it normal for touch screens to stop responding when they are hot?
