Vancouver R2 event?!

So it’s been posted on a few sites and groups that the Richmond bc rivian site I supposed to have a R2 sept 2-7. We are in Vancouver and would like to see it but can’t find any details on time etc. here is one of the posts:

The r2 Rivian Richmond event advertised by Rivian Clubs Canada does not appear to be on. We are at the service centre and there is nothing but other disappointed people ?

You got scammed by Rivian Clubs Canada. That instagram post was click bait at best. Rivian would NEVER host at the service center - it's simply not designed to be a showroom at all.

The R2 will be on display at the Everything Electric show at the convention center downtown:

That was a placeholder most likely. They still never officially set a location. Their most recent IG story/post just confirmed it will be at the expo this coming weekend.
