Vancouver Rivian Space Closed?

I was just looking up the Rivian space in Vancouver as I was thinking about dropping by this weekend and noticed that it's now permanently closed? Shocking to see it closed so soon considering that it just wasn't open very long.

I wonder if Rivian is planning on opening a location somewhere else or just keeping their Yaletown office for the demo drives and that's it.

Yup, they sent an email recently saying it was closed and its scope moved to the Yaletown location, which is a smart decision if you ask me. It was sort of pointless, and apparently it saw very little traffic. They were just throwing away money on it. I had often planned on going in myself, but never felt like navigating the new mall for a quick peek at something I already own.

Totally agree that it makes sense to close if there wasn't a lot of traffic, would want to save the expense. My main concern was more about the ability of potential customers to see vehicles in person and perhaps pick up swag from the shop. If that is now happening at the Yaletown location, then that's event better of a location in my opinion.

I was looking forward to seeing the R2 and R3X in Vancouver, but just realized I'll be out of town those dates! Oops.

I went to the Vancouver show today. The R2 and R3 were not there. I was told that they were “damaged in transit” and could not be shown. Very disappointed to miss them!
