I had a one day meeting in Bloomington so I stopped by the Rivian plant on the way out of town. It was really cool to see the number of new vehicles (Amazon vans, R1T and R1S ) that were parked In their lots. I would guess easily over 1000 vehicles. The inside was neat to see the the front desk workers (they wore a security company’s shirt - not Rivian employees) were pleasant to talk with. You could see straight into the factory thru a large floor to ceiling glass window. They stated no photos or video inside the building and they limited access to the first floor lobby area.
A thought I had regarding all of the new vehicles sitting in the 95’ heat - will that potentially cause issues with the computer system or batteries?
i an looking to buy an R2 next year and have joined this forum and a couple FB groups to learn and keep up everything I can and a lot of posts recently have been about the temps and their vehicle auto conditioning to keep the inside temps at a certain degree.
