I'm seeing my friends , who have ordered after me, get access to the R1s shop. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you asked your guide for access to the R1 shop or are you set on a particular configuration? If it's a specific configuration, that might explain the delay.

The most important among all the announcements at the summit is the company’s plans for the R1. The carmaker looks all set to become profitable by H2, 2024, which will come at the back of the success of the R1 lineup and the van. While the exact number of pre-orders has not been disclosed, McDonogh announced that all the orders taken prior to the price increase in March will be completed by mid-2023. As for the orders post the price increase, the deliveries extend “well into 2024.” The top executive further revealed that the carmaker currently doesn’t plan to increase the base price of the R1. The CFO further notes that the company plans to manufacture 85,000 vehicles per annum by 2026.

I hate to break it to you guy but everyone is tough on the internet. I don’t get into fights over forum posts because I’m not a dipshit but rest assured I would absolutely tell you this to your face.

I would do so not because I’m a tough guy but because the people who say stuff like “you wouldn’t say that to my face” aren’t tough guys either. Tough guys know there’s always someone tougher than they are and the ones who are willing to fight over someone’s mean words are either dead, in jail or smarten up by the time they are 30.

I haven't asked yet, just because I cannot get a hold of them, however from my friends access I can see that they occasionally have my configuration

That's why I only program in languages with automated garbage collection.

@ajdill, Have you had a test drive? Sorry your wait is long... in my experience it is worth it. I'll bet you will get yours within a few months. Rivian has a tendency of silence until they reach out to you then... bam a week later your launching your R1S with perma-grin.
