I have had my R1T for just a few days. Today I had the occasion to try out the horn. It's pretty wimpy. Has anyone replaced theirs with something a little more robust?

It just sounds that way from inside the cab. Use the app from outside to sound the horn in the garage and see if you still feel the same...

Well if you can't really hear it from inside the vehicle, how would others be expected to hear it from inside their vehicle? I feel the horn is weak. I've used it next to people and they have no idea I'm honking.

Because of the insulation of the cab and directionality of the horn. As far as others hearing it, it all depends on their vehicle I guess. All I'm really saying is that, to me, the horn is just as loud, if not louder than, any other vehicle on the road.

I agree completely. Stand in front and beep the horn. It’s significantly louder on the outside. If standing in front, you can actually feel it slightly. Also way louder than my Tesla.

I do agree that when I first got it, beeped the horn, and on the inside I was shocked how quiet I thought the horn was. Then I beeped at my wife walking by and she almost killed me.
