What other AWD EVs are available right now?

If you are asking about any other EVs that are identical to Rivian, which has 4 motors to drive the 4 wheels then the answer is no.
The closest are the trimotor options, which are the Tesla Plaids (1 Front + 2 Rear) and the Audi Etron S (2 Rear + 1 Front)

But if you are asking for EVs which have drivetrains which drive the front and rear axle, then pretty much all of them have them as an option or standard.

Really just want something that I can put snow tires on and stay planted on the interstate during a blinding snowstorm. I've driving the Donner Pass in northern CA for 20+ years in a various AWD Audi/BMW and never had an issue.

There is an auto broker on Bimmerpost who finds IXs available for delivery right away (canceled orders etc...)

I have a reservation for the iX50 and have test driven it. It has leap frogged the R1S for me from a priority perspective. If my line gets called for the iX before the R1s ever makes it up here in Canada, I will happily take it.

Unlike ICE, EVs have an advantage which is that the batteries will give a lower center of gravity. So, when coupled with a good set of winter tires, pretty much any EV will be a good alternative to an ICE vehicle.

Albeit the caveat would be winter range

I nearly purchased the XC40 Recharge and the EV6 at the same time as both were available. No dealer markup on either! Kendall Kia is where we purchased our EV6 GT-Line AWD.

Originally we had ordered a Mach e but after 7 months of waiting the dealership lost it for 6 weeks. With in 4 days of walking away in frustration the dealership (Corwin Ford) found and sold it for +5k over MSRP.

Ah, right. Sorry. I keep forgetting that there's an electric Mustang. And that a Mustang is no longer a sports car but some kind of hybrid SUV thing. But not exactly an SUV because it has a coupe shape and the storage of a sports car...

Don't think I can fit my pups in one of those but maybe worth a try.

Haven't had a chance to see it in person but cargo area looks too small for a couple of big dogs, certainly not going to get a crate back there.

I don't have any dogs, sorry! The car can easily fit a couple of good sized dogs in back seat - either clean or muddy.

I am not one of those owners who "baby's" a car. They are meant for driving, having fun, and using for everyday life. If I had a muddy dog or two, I would put a couple of towels in the back and throw 'em in. Family is family, clean or dirty!!

I tried to get my 95-lb lab to ride in the front seat of my 911 once with the top down. He couldn't sit at an angle where his head wasn't compressed by the angle of the windshield. Needless to say, he didn't want any part of it...

911 is not the most dog friendly car!

The Taycan is roomier. Not exactly a Cayenne, but still roomier than a 911.
