Waze is really the only app I would like to see added to the R1. It is the only thing I still use on my phone, and then only for road trips. Text-to-speech is in the works, so I'm not worried about that.

Waze is the 1 navigation app I would like added.

When driving into New York City it's needed to avoid municipal tax traps:

Red Light camera
Speed camera (25mph enforcement)
Public Transit Bus camera
Public Transit Bus Lane camera
Congestion pricing camera
School Zone camera (enforcement 24/7)

They just announced a new partnership with Google for this, since Alexa sucks at it. "s00n".

Absolutely agree - We're heading into NYC tomorrow and Waze is invaluable for this trip. That's why I installed the EVPlay box - it gives me Waze (the only CP app I use). It's actually nice to have two nav systems at the same time because the Rivian nav manages pre-conditioning but Waze gives me the current updates on things like hazards and police.

I now have the EVPlay GPS receiver so I can use Waze natively on the EVPlay device without using CP. I just need time to install it...
