Behind? Rivian went there already and determined it is a parlor trick with little practical use. Others are just catching up. All wheel steering is where Rivian is behind, but that would also mean higher price and more things to fail.

Tank turn is prime for user abuse and a good way to get trails closed. Matter of time some YouTuber spin their electric G right off a mountain side. You just wait and see.

It could have been useful on an off road trial where you have come upon a washed out section and you dont want to reverse back down the trail.
I’d argue that if you don’t have enough room to turn around traditionally, even if you have to Austin Powers it, you probably don’t have enough room to safely use a tank turn either. I’d never trust it on a trail that narrow in case there was some amount of drift.
