I've been going down this rabbit hole, recently. I used to buy and love 20/10 all season, but it's seemed to have become a ghost, despite still being listed on the website.

I just found out it's a popular solution to make your own with Bronners soap, alcohol, and water.

Gonna try when I'm out of my $90 worth of GC. Ferfuckssake that's ridiculous. I thought it was concentrated based on a random comment that I must have misinterpreted.

Pink is what I saw everyone say is the OEM.

That said, I use only RainX, it's the best. If you really really like the OEM smell, get the GC concentrate and add a splash everytime you refill with RainX to get the smell (that smell is strong). That OEM stuff is way too expensive if you need good freeze protection.
I’m glad you mention the smell factor.

I’ve used the orange RainX for as long as I can remember and know the smell. I can tell when my wife or one of the kids topped off the washer fluid with water or the windex-looking blue stuff.

I think my nose is playing tricks on me: the rainX in the Rivian smells different. I’ve dumped 2+ gallons in the truck over the past months and it still doesn’t smell like the rainX I’m used to.

I love the surfactant in RainX. Anyone know whether the GC pink has a similar water- beading effect?

Nope, the GC stuff does not have any water beading effects. But the smell is strong, I'm on my third gallon of the orange rainx and it still smells like the GC stuff.

But that rainx stuff matters, I had a heavy rain shortly after getting my R1S, and honestly the wipers didn't go fast enough to get the water off the windshield, it needs rainx for the heavy rain.

Perfect. That’s what I needed to hear. Sticking with the Rainx for now.

$40 for shipping.... for fucks sake...

Huge margins here for someone to make their "clone" variant and uncut this product.
No comment on whether this stuff is worth $90 for 4 gallon, but they have removed shipping costs; at least to my location.

Zero additional shipping; might be of interest to somebody.
