I just had CS reactivate my order. Still not a guarantee I will take delivery if it takes forever or if my early Silverado reservation I have happens first. I am guessing that there will be even more setbacks after this. They may have fixed one problem, but now I am thinking the supply chain will cripple rivian

The backlash was likely bigger than Rivian realized. Those who cancelled early drove the reversal (thank you), but I suspect many more who chose not to react so quickly would have backed away. Despite the apology, I'm not seeing the changes needed to ensure this kind of disastrous lack of insight doesn't happen again. A cool idea and smart engineers still need someone with emotional intelligence (EI) to read the room, and EI is hard to teach or learn. It's more of a talent. Who is going to help the decision-makers so they don't do this again?

I'm still bummed all you cancellers are getting back in. Last night I was hoping my July-September window might lead to an earlier delivery but now I'm right back where I started!

(also I still don't think there's any way I get a truck in my current window with the limited production this year but it's fun to dream)

I'm still going to bet that unless you have an LE order, you aren't going to see an R1T this year.
