Who will get battery supply preference? Us or Amazon?

Amazon's guaranteed order helps us from a battery supply & price perspective. Larger volume contract equals more batteries & lower cost.

Rivian has the benefit of significant preorders (and seeing cancellation stats), along with additional preorder velocity.

I don't think Amazon vans will take away from battery supply, rather all factors will help Rivian guarantee more battery supply.

I seem to remember RJ or Brian (or, possibly, that little voice in my head) saying that rolling out the 300-mile R1T before the Max-Pack version would allow the battery supply to reach farther while selling more of the mid-priced R1Ts, thus helping to generate more unit sales early. I know that logic might lead some to think that the smaller pack would then be the logical choice, but it's after 11:00, I'm tired, and I don't care.

BTW, that little voice in my head could have been Bloomberg. Come to think of it, it was kind of an annoying voice.
