Remote operator is normal for robotaxi. It is standard practice.Is anyone surprised Elon is having remote operators in his robo taxi when he had a guy in a robot costume debut his Optimus robot? Or when he used the actual robots he had them under remote control as well.

We know that FSD can drive on its own and not crash so remote operator is just to take over in scenarios that other robotaxi would do the same thing.
Looking through a video feed with latency that is not 360 stitched is absolutely not a way to monitor a car in a safe way. Using a remote operator is not the same as having someone in the driver's seat and if it were, tesla would have done driverless last year
you're also coming from a company which has blatantly lied about their abilities in self driving and is still relying on a legacy mobileye product.
