That’s reasonable. I think there are several ways to prevent the confusion, like with a thermometer graphic, and I’m not saying that my sloppy mockup was meant to be THE WAY. It could be there is no clean way to present the info, and that’s okay..
I'd totally be on board for Rivian to give us a widget API that was configurable and extensible. It'd be one of the things that would set Rivian apart, and that's one of the things I have been pushing the whole time I have owned one.

Wassym Bensaid, Rivian's VP of software, acknowledges that this is the plan in this State of Charge video posted October 16. He says it will out "In the first quarter".

Exclusive Interview: Rivian's VP Of Software Discusses The Brands' Software Advantage

I can't recall exactly where in the very long video he says this, but I believe it is somewhere after the 20 minute mark.

FYI, I did a little experimentation with the pitch and roll indicators. It seems that the little red lines for pitch are at 45 degrees while the ones for roll are at 35 degrees:

(No, I didn't do both of those at the same time! This was pasted up with Photoshop from two separate trials.)
IMHO, these are pretty reasonable choices. 35 for roll and 45 for pitch are a pretty good upper bound of what I would ever attempt.

@SoCalRob...I appreciate your suggestion of more data on the truck graphic as I've seen other car manufacturers do that.

One of my first things I wished was for pitch and roll to be available in on road modes and moving more data to the graphic would suffice this.

And why you might ask would you like to have that data when on blacktop? Well, not every road is flat, and even some blacktop ones come with warnings....as I've been over a few times in the Eastern Sierra's:

Note that a 26% grade is "only" 15 degrees. For on-road use it might be useful to optionally display the angle in percent rather than degrees.

Love the new info displays but why is the battery temperature blanked out when charging? It seems like that would be one of the most important times to know what it actually is

It's always going to get topped out on a DC charger. Rivian is avoiding support calls from people thinking there is a problem when it's actually behaving as expected.
