With the new configuration system, if you change accessories such as removing the ski rack attachment, will that reset your rez to processing?

Well, they did warn that basically “any” change to your configuration as of 10/16 would “probably” delay it, but it’s hard to believe adding a ski rack would set you back. If you’re nervous about it just wait until you get notified your truck is on the way and add it then.

I'm not convinced there's any connection between that estimate and the production line to begin with, outside of roughly when they were planning to make a vehicle matching your major options as of the last time the estimator updated (once a quarter). I have seen report after report of people getting their vehicle well before their new estimate (mostly R1T, but it's still the same system).

2 days ago I changed my order from R1S to R1T, got "Processing estimate", and had a guide w/locked config in less than 24 hours. There was clearly no delay / penalty in this case.

I don’t think it will delay it but your estimate will go to processing. It’s just how their software works.

Yes, it changes your estimate to processing 100%. No idea of it effects actual delivery. My father in law added the XPEL front wrap after the October update and he want from Jan-Feb to “processing.”

my understanding is any change made to your configuration, will kick it to processing until the next update in January. I would like to add the PPF and also drop my Floormats but I’m waiting until I get guide contact who can do that for me as opposed to doing it myself.

I wanted to get rid of the All-Weather Floor Mats ordered but too chicken to mess it up despite it being an "Apr-Jun 23" delivery date.

I believe you can just tell your guide to remove them once assigned before confirming config.

Not sure this helps, but I removed spare tires Oct. 26 -- before delivery date notices went out but after the Oct. 16 "lock" date -- and I received a delivery date and not "processing".
