WTH is up w/ R1S Delivery Prioritization!?

If they took your info at Brooklyn about flexibility, download the Rivian app and see if you have a guide assigned in there (Profile -> Ask Us Anything). I had a great convo with at the Brooklyn SC on Saturday 5/6 during my first mile and he took down all my info (config preferences) and I had a guide assigned by 5/9. Might've been sooner but I didn't check until then. I had my guide intro call and had access to the shop on 5/10 and picked my config on 5/11.

That's the exact same experience I had. Took a couple weeks to find a configuration in the shop and now I have it. Got it months early.

Returning to Connecticut from visiting family in Ohio on Sunday the motor in my aging Volvo wagon died on I-80 near Clarion Pennsylvania. Today, the Volvo dealer told me the motor is toast. Chatted with Rivian on Monday and requested to be given R1S shop access under the circumstances. Two days later no joy.

Yeah, I sure don’t feel entitled to get premature access to the R1S shop, but since I’m suddenly facing the reality of finding a 12 month vehicle to bridge me to my configured R1S delivery I thought it made sense to at least ask Rivian the question.
