Update: June 26, 2024 - 2,400 miles on tires: 176 mile one way; temps in high 70s climbing to high 80s. Average speed of 60 mph (Conserve 100%). Consumed 81.2 kwh. Average efficiency of 2.17 MPK.

Update: June 11, 2024 - 1,800 miles on tires: 20.8 mile roundtrip; temps in low 60s. Average speed of 37 mph (All Purpose 90% non-highway). Consumed 8.3 kwh. Actual distance travelled of 20.2 miles. Average efficiency of 2.4 MPK.

Installed the Geolandar CV 4S on 20" OEM rims, updated with performance and MPK...$245 per tire (simpletire.com). At 800 miles of wear, CV 4S are 11.7% more efficient than the 20” OEM Pirelli, primarily due to being 16% lighter weight (41.4#):

Really want to see the range KWH readings. Also the noise/comfort on those tires.

Initial thoughts:
Driving in Sport Mode is significantly improved. The “bouncy” feeling is essentially gone. Road feels more connected and overall a more stabilized and controlled driving experience. Pretty limited data but so far seems it’s at least as efficient as OEM 20” Pirelli. More to come but wanted to share first impression.

Tempting. 🤔 But, not available in stock 20” size of 275/65r20. Don’t really want to deal with the calibration change from 34” to 33”.

I assume you started with 21” then made the switch to 20”, thus the 60 profile.

“ …least as efficient as OEM 20” Pirelli.”

Calibration? My OEMs were 2 mph off, these are 3 mph off…

Computer can’t tell difference…never had the 21”, but been thinking it’s a great time to pick up a set since nobody wants them..oh wait, they 48# each…

At 65 mph the Geolandar CV 4S was 2.14 MPK, 55F and no wind in All Purpose. Tires are new so hopefully will improve. Guessing they will be about 5% more efficient than the OEM.
No distance adjustment was needed. At 40 mph they are around 5% more efficient. The better ride/handling is the best part for sure.

What is frame of reference, the larger OE ATs? Odometer and trip computer would be off without reprogramming (if original equipment was the OE AT).

Yes 20” OEM, realizing how bouncy they were, driving in sport mode wasn’t possible, now it is. CV 4S seem like a great tire that checks all/most of the boxes…obviously not a hard core off road tire but neither was the OEM.
