I swear Yokohama has magic rubber, based on my GO15s; the Geolandar range is just amazing. It’s only the talk of needing special EV tires that’s made me hesitant, but I wasn’t sure if it was mostly marketing or not (I’m sure it’s not entirely bullshit). I drove on the stock road tires all winter, including in about a foot of fresh snow on dirt roads, and was honestly pretty happy with them, but they definitely can’t touch the Geolandara on my Jeep, and I’d love to have the 3PMSF.
Think so, right now over the last ~200 miles it's averageing 2.35 MPK in All Purpose.
On a 20 mile RT today the average was 2.5-2.6 MPK with speeds of 30-35 MPH...
Extended out, range is likely 308 in AP and ~347 in Conserve.

Well here goes! For all those who are unlikely to go rock crawling or doing serious off roading, the only tire to get is the new Michelin Defender Platinum tire. Came out in Nov 2023.
They are quite expensive, Costco is the best place to get them. I now have nearly 4000 miles on mine, I elected the 285/60/20 size. These fit without rubbing even at the lowest ride setting.
These have a 70,000 mile warranty and they show no sign of wear yet.
I love the ride quality so much and how quiet they are, that many times I don't even listen to the radio! Just the silent hum from the motors and a little wind noise above 70mph.
Why buy a tire that lasts 20-25,000 miles when realistically you should get at least 50,000 with this tire. Then there's the Costco warranty. No worries whatsoever.
Here in Florida, there are no serious off road places, so comfort is my goal.

The marks on the rim is just the soapy solution they used to mount the tires, not curb rash! A car wash took care of it.

Interesting, only 14/32...what makes you think you will get 50,000 miles? As a rough rule/guide, you should divide the warranteed miles in half when using on an EV...so you can prob. expect more like 35k out of those...
Also, why not get 275/65R20 and save a couple pounds and keep them 34" instead of 33.4"?
While I'm not a fan of those tires, I could see how they appeal to some...
Any MPK data you can share?
