"SACRAMENTO, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol is launching a statewide Maximum Enforcement Period (MEP) to tackle speeding, one of the most dangerous behaviors on California roads.

According to the CHP, the MEP campaign will run from 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 7, to 5:59 a.m. on Sunday, June 8."

The CA CHP has added couple of hundred or so gray and brown Dodge Durango Helcat derivative patrol cars to crack down on speeders. I saw one other day that had pulled over a driver.
