Is there any way to know if this is iPhone footage?

So far, all iPhone known footage has a characteristic "blue" that people who witnessed the vehicle in real time at the time of the pic/video report is not there.

It’s going to look really good on the R1S with black rims.
Still keeping Compass Yellow.

I see a lot of baby blue in the original. Here's a color-tweaked version. Can anyone who's seen Limestone in person comment? I tried to match it to the DSLR photo through the chainlink fence that's on the Limestone thread.

The photo is not accurately color balanced. Look at the blue cast on the signs above the truck. The fence is likely whitye.

It was my iPhone... that was them driving it out to me for the first time. Sorry, I wasn't thinking about color balance at the time... ;)

This weekend I'm planning to use my Sony camera to take some pictures. The car picks up the colors around it. It doesn't have a blue tint, but I'd also say it isn't green. If it's a bright sunny day, it looks blue. If you're in a forest, it looks green. If not, it looks plain grey. I've only gotten positive comments on the color. The yellow accents don't pop as much as they do on blue, but I prefer this understated look. I love the truck inside and out.

Limestones leans to green.

The Rivian provided photos are color managed and show the green cast. Riven states in the description of Limestone that it leans green. Light blueish doesn't fit the overall Rivian color palette.

LIMESTONE
Inspired by sedimentary rock outcrops in Colorado, the neutral grey has a hint of green accentuated by fine flakes that are reminiscent of limestone’s mineral composition.

Can’t wait to see your pics. I keep going back and forth on limestone. And congrats on the delivery!

Yet, still looks "pewter'ish" to me. I need to see it in person. Right now it's not looking like I will keep my original color config if it still tinges towards that grey-lightblue.

The color balance is skewed in a way that would bring out less blue but phones in general up the contrast and saturation to accentuate their displays.

I think the bottom line with Limestone is that it's just not what people were expecting. It's far lighter and skews blue. We see variations on this color all around the past few years, just a lot of grey/silver to baby blue and everything in between.

We need to get over the renders we were looking at, and as a 3D artist who has had automakers as clients in the past, please, get over it. I can walk you through intricately why it's not really the 3D artist or Rivian's fault if you really need to get into it. Whoever did those renders was probably given an outdated color, was guessing at flake content and was lighting his or her scene with a more "studio" lighting scheme than what we're seeing in photos. They might also not have even been working on a renderer that can get that sophisticated with the materials.

Many, many cars look way different in person than they do on configurators and 3D renders. The only reason we're all outraged and drama-filled is because we just haven't seen it in the real yet.

I'm not a fan of the baby blues but I will say of all the baby blues-greys I see out there, Rivian did a great job picking theirs. It skews towards that trend while being unique but not anything to overt either. Heck, I think it's even appropriately named now that I see it in reality.

have you seen it in person? I have read many posts that say in person there is little to no blue tones at all
